TRADITIONAL STONE SCULPTURE

Hi, my name is David Brierley I am a trained architectural stone carver from Yorkshire England. Every sculpture is traditionally handcarved. I work with solid natural sandstone blocks, or granite blocks from local stone quarries. I am known as the stonecarver. Most of my work is in private collections. I also work  on listed buildings, and occassionally on national monuments that require conservation and renovation. My passion is stonecarving/sculpture. I opened a workshop in 1990 that is dedicated to stone carving /sculpture. I also carve other natural stone products that can be seen by clicking workshop at top of page.
